Funny you should ask.
The Clubhouse is where we bring folks together to casually network without the pressure of actually networking.
We host consistent get togethers, happy hours, awkward parties, and casual hangs to foster more connectedness in our community.
So if you're a grizzled veteran, a new arrival, fresh out of film school or just wanting to simply connect with your peers, the Clubhouse is the most enjoyable way to awkwardly meet your next collaborator.
See you there!

Sophie Jarvis
Sophie Jarvis is an award winning director and writer whose first feature film "Until Branches Bend" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022, and went on to play SXSW and Locarno the following year. Her background as a production designer led her to directing commercials back in 2015, and it informs her approach to visually expressing tone, whether it be character-driven realism, high concept studio builds, or anything in between. Her experience in stop motion further developed an intensive pre-visualization process that lays the foundation for visually-rich scenes and relatable performances to shine. Sophie is currently in pre-production on her first TV series, developing her second feature film, and gearing up for another commercial next month.
Christine Borolin
Christine is a writer, director, and comedian based in Vancouver, BC. Starting out performing in venues she was too young to legally get into, Christine has produced and performed comedy across North America. She is the local programmer for Just For Laughs VANCOUVER and the programme director at the Fox Cabaret. She recently wrote for the Adult Swim Canada animated show Psicops and was nominated for a Leo Award for her work co-writing/directing an episode of The Slowest Show for CBC Gem. Check out her recent commercial directing work at KIDDO Films.
Amar Chebib
Syrian-Canadian filmmaker Amar Chebib began making videos while growing up skateboarding in the Middle East. With sensitivity and style, his work pushes the boundaries between genres and is rooted in the perspective of the underrepresented. His short hybrid doc, JOE BUFFALO, is about an Indigenous skateboarding legend and survivor of Canada’s notorious Indian Residential School system. It was executive produced by Tony Hawk, won the Audience Award at SXSW, and was widely considered a contender for the 94th Academy Awards. Amar has directed work for notable brands such as Square, Airbnb, Beats by Dre, Casper, and Bank of America. He resides with his wife and daughter in Vancouver, BC and continues to work globally.
Jeremy Grice
Jeremy started his career as an automotive mechanic but soon threw in the towel and studied marketing at BCIT. After working as an account manager, he snuck his way into the creative department and spent years sharpening his trade as an art director. He’s worked as a creative director at Spring, 123w, The Bay and Juliet and has helped transform some of Canada’s biggest brands.
Evan Bourque
Evan Bourque’s sharp comedy instincts recently won him accolades at the 1.4 Awards and the 2023 Young Director Awards for his latest work, "Igor Loves His Car." Evan's approach is simple yet powerful—he brings out the genuine humour in human connections. He has a knack for championing quirky hero characters and delivering surprising twists to keep audiences hooked.
