Hello friends of Filmable!
How is it MARCH?! It feels like just yesterday we were braving the harrowing blizzard of Jan ‘24.
But enough reminiscing, let’s get down to the important stuff.
We received some wonderful feedback from all y’all on how to take the Clubhouse to the next level, and we are going to try something new.
We will kick off the next Clubhouse with a presentation from local filmmaker, Janessa St. Pierre, on the History of Black Cinema - how anti-black tropes play into contemporary media and how to move towards a more inclusive future.
Join us for the inspiring talk, and if you can’t make it early, we’ll continue the Clubhouse after the presentation.

Location: Boldly - 143 W 3rd Avenue
Same deal as before: bring a friend, invite a colleague, everyone who works in indie film in Vancouver is welcome. We will have drinks available (while supplies last), a few nibbles and a great space to hang out.
