Filmable was created by independent filmmakers in BC to try and break down the siloes of the industry and connect creatives by fostering collaboration, building community, and creating a home for locals to exchange ideas.
An easy way for @filmablesociety to build community is to simply host events, minglers, meetups, and parties.
So that’s what we’re gonna do.

In partnership with other great non-profit organizations, Filmable will engage with funding bodies, government programs, and private sponsors to help raise the profile of BC based filmmakers.
Our first party is a BC filmmakers celebration & spotlight in conjunction with @creativebcs , @collective_bunch , and @viffest
