Well gang, we’ve done it again.
To mark the close of another incredible VIFF, over 600 filmmakers, creators, and partners gathered at The Birdhouse to celebrate our independent screen community. Hosted by Filmable and The Collective Bunch in partnership with VIFF, for the fifth year, the night brought together people from every corner of the industry—from emerging voices to veterans.
A major highlight of the evening was officially introducing the 2nd Cohort of The Filmable x Collective Bunch Fellowship, celebrating community-led development support for local filmmakers.
Guests leaned into the CAMERA READY dress code while enjoying great food, music, drag performances, and late-night dancing. But more than anything, the evening was about building connections and showing up for one another. When we share resources and celebrate our collective wins, our local industry grows stronger.
If you caught a great moment on your phone, scan the QR codes or upload your videos via Chunks to help us relive the magic.
Thank you for showing up, cheering each other on, and keeping the indie film spirit alive and thriving in BC.
